The “Information and Decision Support Center” (IDSC) is a consultancy and research institute (think tank) affiliated with the Egyptian Cabinet. It features an extensive infrastructure and offers support in political decision-making by collecting and interpreting empirical data and producing analysis and studies. IDSC is one of the most influential political consultancies in Egypt.

National Council for Youth (NCY)
The National Council for Youth was founded in 2005 with the aim to strengthen the socio-political engagement of youth. Since 2006, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung has organised mutual seminars and workshops to prepare young people for an active participation in the political and social life in Egypt.

Center for Economic & Financial Research & Studies (CEFRS)
The Center for Economic & Financial Research & Studies (CEFRS) was establishedin 1994 as an independent research center within the Faculty of Economics and Political Science (FEPS) of Cairo University and is conducted at the moment by Prof. Manal Metwally. The CEFRS advices institutions and government authorities in economical and financial matters and conducts economical studies and seminars. It offers training programs for students and contributes to public debates in economical and financial matters.
Center for Political Research and Studies (CPRS)
The Center for Political Research and Studies (CPRS), founded in 1986, is an independent research center of the Faculty of Economics and Political Sciences at Cairo University. It focuses on the advancement of young academics and on advising state institutions and seeks to engage as a mediator between policy makers and the general public. These aims are to be achieved through research projects that the Center supports or conducts itself.
Partners in Development (PiD)
„Partners in Development“ (PiD) is an independent think tank founded by a number of internationally renowned Egyptian experts, scientists, and entrepreneurs. PiD mainly focuses on the areas of law and administration and supports the process of democratization in Egypt through academic consultancy services.
Development Program for Women & Children (DPWC)
The “Development Program for Women and Children” (DPWC) is a small NGO focusing on the support of social development progresses as well as the enhancement of women’s, families’, and children’s rights. Their activities are mainly concentrated on the rural areas of Upper Egypt.
El-Sadat Association for Social Development & Welfare (SASDW)
"El-Sadat Association for Social Development & Welfare" is a young NGO initiated by a number of renowned oppositional activists. SASDW mainly focuses on the support and encouragement of political participation and the fruitful dialogue between different political and social groups. SASDW is run by Anwar Esmat El-Sadat.
Egyptian Youth Federation
The Egyptian Youth Federation is a non-governmental umbrella organisation for all Egyptian youth-led NGOs and NGOs working in the area of youth development. It was founded in 2005 to represent the different NGOs and facilitate co-operation. It was registered with the Egyptian Ministry of Social Solidarity in January 2006. The Federation currently represents 12 Egyptian youth organisations from different Egyptian cities and governorates and aims to eventually incorporate all youth related NGOs in Egypt.
