On January 27, 2018 the Belarus Country Office of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and the Minsk Dialogue Track-II Initiative invites business and civil society professionals from Belarus to a seminar „Leadership Training“ in Renaissance Hotel in Minsk.

In 2018 Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Belarus together with its partners starts a new seminar series to improve personal skills of representatives of business, universities, think tanks and NGOs.

The main objective of this seminar is to provide participants the possibility to develop and improve their leadership skills and necessary personal qualities. In addition we open network possibilities amongst the participants.

The seminar will be in Russian language only!

On „Leadership Training“ trainer Vladimir Shernovoj will provide the following inputs:

  • Learning to set goals and objectives.
  • Developing a strategy to achieve goals and solve problems.
  • Improving ability to prioritize.
  • Improving ability to plan working hours.

In the form of brainstorming, mini-lectures, role games, exercises, cinematology, and group work the participants will deal with the following topics:

  • Personal effectiveness
    • What is personal effectiveness and on what does it depend?
    • Raising your "ceiling".
    • From desire to goal. A technique for transferring intention / desire into a goal.
    • GoMAD Performance Methodology.
      Self-motivation and self-esteem of a person, and on what it depends.
      How to motivate yourself to work?
    • Thinking according to the result frame.
  • Achieving the goal
    • The goal, how to properly form (put).
    • Setting tasks.
    • Strategies for achieving goals.
  • Time as a resource
    • Time factor - an irreversible resource.
    • "Absorbers" of time. How to deal with them.
  • Time management
    • Planning the time resource. Techniques and principles of planning.
    • Determination of priorities in life and work.
    • The Eisenhower Matrix, the Pareto Principle.
    • Principles and techniques of the month planning (Gantt technique), weeks and days planning.
    • Buffer zones, where and how to use them correctly?
  • Work with the calendar
    • Work with the datebook, planner.
    • 5-digit planning system.

The training will be conducted by business coach, certified master coach, business psychologist, and mediator Vladimir Zhernovoy. Vladimir is member of the European Coaching and Mentoring Council (EMSS), managing partner and teacher at Master Coach Ukraine, teacher at the MBA International Academy, member of the Club of Professional Coaches of Ukraine, head of the training and coaching center "Equilibrium".

About Minsk Dialogue Track-II Initiative

The Minsk Dialogue was launched in March 2015 as a Track-II (non-governmental) diplomacy platform with a focus on international relations and security in Europe and Eurasia. It aims to create a permanent expert forum for regular conferences and promoting innovative policy advice. The conferences are held under the Chatham House Rule with a view to facilitating open exchange. In order to establish ties with Track-I diplomacy (inter-governmental), diplomats are invited as observers.
