European-Israeli Dialogue on National Security and Regional Stability
Rarely have the EU and Israel shared so many common threats and interests as in this period of failing states, terrorism and porous borders. This conference addressed the challenge to find answers on ensuring stability and security.
After the Dutch Christian Democrats suffered setbacks in past elections by agreeing to political compromises with right-wing populist parties, they avoided a further loss of votes in the European elections in May.
It succeeded in advancing the parliamentarisation and contributed to the agenda setting, to new laws, as well as to the parliamentary monitoring: a retrospective on the seventh and an outlook for the upcoming legislature.
The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung is one of the political foundations of the Federal Republic of Germany. Through its activities and projects, the Foundation aims to actively and substantially contribute to international cooperation and understanding.
