In October 2017, Russian Revolution has its centenary. It helped communism becoming unpredictably popular and marked the beginning of a radical, global schism.

On occasion to that, this exhibition offers an overview of the states which made communism a constitutional ideology. Frameworks and the history, as well as the consequences of these regimes, are being presented. One section is dedicated to Soviet regimes in Baltic countries.

The exhibition was organized and financed by Bundesstiftung für Aufarbeitung der SED-Diktatur, Deutsches Historisches Museum, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, Estonian Ministry of Justice and Eesti Mälu Instituut.
