All India Santal Welfare and Cultural Society (AISWACS)
The All India Santal Welfare and Cultural Society is an indigenous tribal organization involved in the socio-political empowerment of Adivasis (indigenous tribals) themselves. The Santals are one of the most oppressed and socio-politically victimised communities in India. The Society has become a partner in development activities with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in the year 1996. The Society has been regularly organising a series of programmes under the project entitled: Training for Social Transformation among the Adivasis of Santal Parganas.

Confederation of Indian Bar (CIB)
Die Confederation of Indian Bar möchte als Forum für Integration und Koordination aller Rechtsanwaltskammern sowie für Mitglieder der indischen Anwaltschaft, einschließlich der Anwaltskammern und Rechtsanwaltskammern, dienen und das nationale Sprachrohr der Anwaltschaft und aller anderen verwandten Themen repräsentieren. Sie möchte der nationale Vertreter der Anwaltschaft sein und die Unabhängigkeit und Integrität der Gerichte schützen und stärken. Ihr Ziel ist es, die Aufrechterhaltung der Rechtsstaatlichkeit zu fördern, nichtdiskriminierenden Zugang zum indischen Rechtssystem zu fördern, den jüngeren Mitgliedern der Gerichte zu helfen und sie zu ermutigen, bei den Legislatur-, Justiz- und Exekutivbehörden zu den oben genannten Themen vorstellig zu werden, die Unabhängigkeit der Anwälte zu unterstützen, damit diese ihren Beruf ohne Beeinträchtigung ausüben können und letzten Endes die Initiative zu ergreifen, um das Rechtssystem für die Öffentlichkeit zu verbessern.

Centre for Public Affairs
The Centre for Public Affairs was established in 1993 as a society with the objective to develop a body of knowledge to make interventions in order to provide policy choices on issues of public affairs. The Cooperation with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung started in 2000. Different projects have been taken up so far: Political Parties and Party System; Society, Politics and the Voluntary Sector; The Indian Parliament: A Comparative Perspective and Terrorism and the Rule of Law: An Indian Perspective.
Centre for Rural Entrepreneurship and Technical Education (CREATE)
CREATE works directly with the rural target groups on issues related to child rights, poverty eradication, employment generation and women empowerment. It is also engaged in action research and implementation of pilot projects, based on research models for social and economic upliftment. The projects with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung focus on the support of training programmes with members of Panchayati Raj Institutions and Village Councils in selected areas.
Centre for the Study of Developing Societies
The Centre for the Study of Developing Societies is an independent research institute that covers the whole range of development issues in India. The CSDS can be said to have pioneerd large-scale empirical studies of the social and cultural basis of politics in South Asia. The broad spectrum of the Centre goes from small empiric research studies, international conferences to research projects with a big team over years. About 40 scholars work within the CSDS. The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung has commissioned a Study about the Indian Youth to the Centre for the Study of Develoing Societies in 2006.

Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI)
The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry is the rallying point for free enterprises in India. The Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has enabled the Indian business sector to strengthen its competitivenes and to enhance its global expansion. FICCI has a nationwide membership of over 1500 corporates and over 500 chambers of commerce and business associations. FICCI maintains the lead as a proactive business solution provider through research, interactions at the highest political level and global networking. The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung runs a combined Study and Seminar programme on 'Economic Reforms on State Level' together with FICCI. Furthermore, high ranking forums pertaining to economic policy were organized together with FICCI.

Federation of Indo-German Societies in India (FIGS)
FIGS was set up 40 years ago. The principal objects for which it was established are: to strengthen the existing friendly relations between India and the Federal Republic of Germany; and to promote and develop relations between the two countries in literary, cultural, social, commercial and industrial fields, and explore and develop new areas of mutual cooperation, understanding and goodwill. Towards these objectives FIGS organises lectures, symposia and get-togethers. It has a scholarship programme for research in Germany for M. Phil and Ph. D. scholars. To achieve its objectives it has a membership which comprises of eminent academics, foundations and corporates, amongst others. For the past years FIGS and KAS have had a mutually beneficial and cooperative partnership to promote their common goal of creating an increased awareness of Germany in India. They have jointly organised successful round-tables and seminars in New Delhi and elsewhere in India. The current President of FIGS is Ambassador Satinder K. Lambah, former Indian envoy to Germany.
Indian Council of Research in International Economic Relations (ICRIER)
ICRIER – established in August 1981 – is an autonomous, policy-oriented, not-for-profit, economic policy think tank. ICRIER’s main focus is to enhance the knowledge content of policy making by undertaking analytical research that is targeted at improving India’s interface with the global economy. ICRIER’s highly qualified in-house team of about 50 researchers is led by Dr. Rajiv Kumar, D.Phil in Economics from Oxford University and Ph.D from Lucknow University.

Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA)
The Indian Council of World Affairs set up in 1943, is an institution of national importance. The objective of the Council are to promote the study of Indian and international affairs so as to develop a body of informed opinion on international matters; to promote activities; to serve as a clearing house of information and knowledge regarding world affairs. To publish books, periodicals, journals, reviews, papers, pamphlets and other literature; and to arrange conferences and seminars for disuccions and studying Indian policy towards international affairs.
Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA)
The Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses was established in New Delhi in 1965. It is considered to be the premier strategic and security studies think tank in India. Over the years the Institute has enlarged its focus of research from Defence Studies to cover issues of National and International Security. The Institute is funded by the Indian Ministry of Defence, but functions autonomously. Apart from the research the Institute also provides training programmes to civilian and military officers of the Government of India. The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung holds seminars and exchanges on security issues with the IDSA.

Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies (IPCS)
The Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies was established in August 1996 as an independent think tank devoted to studying security issues relating to South Asia. The Institute maintains close liaison with the Indian Ministries of Defence and External Affairs. The Institute has established dialogue processes with leading institutions and think tanks in India and abroad to facilitate the exchange of ideas to develop a better understanding. The Cooperation beween the IPCS and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung began in the year 1997 with a Sino-Indo-German Trilateral Conference and has become an intensive partnership in the area of foreign and security policies. The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung continues the trilateral dialogue 'India, China and Germany' and 'EU, India and the US' in cooperation with the IPCS. Furthermore, a range of events such as a NATO-India dialogue, external affairs dilaogues as well as programmes on conflict and peace processes in South Asia take place.

The Joint Staff Development Programme - KAS Partner Network is a network of current and former partners of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung which basically focus on development related issues. The oldest partner of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, Vishwa Yuvak Kendra, is also part of the JSDP-KAS Partner Network. The Cooperation between the Foundation and Vishwa Yuvak Kendra startet already in the year 1968. The following organizations are members of the JSDP-KAS Partner Network: All India Santal Welfare and Cultural Society (AISWACS), Centre for Rural Entrepreneurship and Technical Education (CREATE), Institute of Youth and Development (IYD), Indian Institute of Youth Welfare (IIYW), Madras Management Association (MMA), PHD Chamber of Commcerce and Industry (PHD), Ramakrishna Mission (RKM) / KALYAN, The Independent Commission for People's Right and Development (ICPRD), Vishwa Yuvak Kendra (VYK) and Yuvak Vikas Trust (YVT).
Madras Management Association (MMA)
The Madras Management Association (MMA) was founded in August 1956 with the objective of furthering management development. Its contribution to management development can be gauged by the growth of its membership strength from 20 to over 3000 during the last 50 years. Since March 1989 MMA has assisted small and medium entrepreneurs in manangement education through an Entrepreneurship Development Cell in cooperation with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung. During the years the cooperation has expanded both in content and magnitude. Besides this project the Madras Management Association has organized events together with the Foundation to promote private sector initiatives to sustain growth and employment in the South of India.

PHD Chamber of Commerce
The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry is an apex organization at regional level that was established in 1905. The Chamber is serving the states of Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttaranchal, Uttar Pradesh and Union Territory of Chandigarh. The Chamber’s membership covers large and medium industrial units, banks, export houses, commercial establishment, professionals. The Chamber is having a direct membership of 1500 companies and 122 "Associations" as members. In collaboration with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung the Chamber is serving small and medium enterprises for the last 18 years in capability and skill building. Since the project was envisaged it has made agreat deal of progress in North India through its training programmes, conferences and seminars. It has assisted a huge number of executives and entrepreneurs so far in upgrading their managerial capabilities and skills and preparing them to face global competition in the ever-changing economic scenario.

Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA)
The Supreme Court Bar Association commits itself to upholding, maintaining and consolidation of the constitutional values of democracy, rule of law and independence of Judiciary. The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung has supported All India Seminars on Judicial Reforms and in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Bars an All India Seminar on Access to Justice. Furthermore, seminars on significant issues on the legal system, judicial reforms and law institutions were held. Related publications were published and widely distributed to the legal community in India.

CR Irani Foundation
In Kooperation mit der CR Irani Foundation wurde eine Schule für Journalismus gegründet. Die Kurse und Seminare der Journalistenstudierenden basieren auf einem ständig aktualisiertem Curriculum. Hier werden den Studierenden Basistechniken des Journalismus sowie Interpretationsmethoden und Analyse beigebracht, um sie im Hinblick auf politische, soziale und wirtschaftliche Geschehnisse zu sensibilisieren. Die Fakultät besteht aus Journalisten des Statesman sowie von anderen Medien, aber auch aus Rechts-, Finanz- und Wissenschaftsexperten. Indem sie Seminare und Konferenzen für die Studierenden organisiert haben, hat die KAS und der Statesman einen zusätzlichen Wert für das Programm geschaffen. Neben dem regulärem SPJS Curriculumsaktivitäten, führen die KAS und die CR Irani Foundation Seminare wie die jährliche Herausgeberkonferenz durch, um gegenwärtige politische Themen mit Experten aus unterschiedlichen Feldern (Journalismus, Politik, Akademie und Diplomatie) zu besprechen. Eine Alumni-Organisation wird es den Abgängern vereinfachen, Kontakt zu halten. Die ausgebildeten Journalisten genießen auf dem Markt eine große Nachfrage.

The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI)
The Energy and Resources Institute was formally established in 1974 with the purpose of tackling and dealing with the immense and acute problems that mankind is likely to be faced with in the years ahead. TERI deals with the development of approaches to solve global problems in the areas of energy, environment and current development issues. In the year 2006 the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung started a cooperation with TERI on foreign, trade and security policy aspects of enery.

United Service Institution(USI)
The United Service Institution of India was founded in 1870 by a soldier scholar, Colonel (later Major General) Sir Charles MacGregor. The story of its growth is the story of the growth of the Indian Armed Forces. It was founded for 'furtherance of interest and knowledge in the art, science and literature of the Defence Services. The Institution began with a membership of 215 members. When it moved to its present premises, the number stood at about 3500, and has presently crossed 12,700.
