KAS initiates EU-project in Indonesia

Pesantren for Peace

Quranic boarding schools, called pesantren, play a major role for muslims in Indonesia and can contribute to peaceful conflict resolution and a stronger perception of the moderate majority among believers. Their strengthening and networking are objectives of the cooperation between KAS and CSRC, now also supported by the European Union.
