The event will be structured in two different moments: in the morning the institutional part organized by EUCA with the participation of Marco Scurria, Member of the European Parliament; Raffaele Liberali, Head of the University, AFAM an Research Department of Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research; Susana del Rio Villar, Academic Director and author of Upgrading Europe; Stefano Blanco, President of CCU - the Conference of Italian University Colleges of Merit and Gian Luca Giovannucci, President of EUCA. In the afternoon, a workshop on European citizenship, mobility and employability chaired by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung.

The aim of this event is to launch a high level debate with representatives from institutions and with civil society stakeholders on how international mobility, within the context of European citizenship, can contribute to increased youth employability by improving the quality and effectiveness of exchange programs.

EUCA (European University College Association) is a European network of Collegiate Halls of Residence for University students based in Brussels, and committed to promoting academic excellence in the European Higher Education Area. The Italian

CCU (Conference of Italian University Colleges of Merit recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research) is among its founding members.

Upgrading Europe (2012 - 2015) is a European project, promoted by EUCA under the supervision of Dr. Susana Del Rio Villar, that will offer greater visibility to the value of Europe, and will promote a European Union with a high quality transnational democracy, ready to face the challenges of the XXI century.
