Book Presentation

The new book of the Centre for East European Policy Studies focuses on exploring the content of internet media in Latvia, both Russian and Latvian, analyzing the similarities and differences in their portrayal of international events and processes.

The book presentation event will focus on the most significant and talked-about international events that have been widely covered in the Latvian media space.

The speakers will be Dr. Mārtiņš Kaprāns, researcher at the Institute of philosophy and sociology, University of Latvia (FSI), Māris Cepurītis, researcher at the Centre for East European Policy Studies and co-editor of the book, and Dr. Didzis Bērziņš, senior lecturer at the University of Latvia Faculty of Social Sciences and researcher at the Advanced Social and Political Research Institute at the University of Latvia. The Presentation will be moderated by Andis Kudors, executive director and researcher at the CEEPS.

The discussion will be held in Latvian with synchronous interpretation in English.
