The Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Announces the KAS Energy Security Fellowship

Sauli Niinistö takes office as new President of the Republic of Finland

On March 1, Sauli Niinistö was inaugurated as 12th President of State of the Republic of Finland. He follows Tarja Halonen in office, who after two terms was not allowed to run for office again. After 56 years Niinistö is the first Conservative who heads the Finnish state.

Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) izsludina projektu konkursu vides aizsardzības, klimata un enerģijas jomā jauniešiem vecumā no 14 – 27 gadiem. Ikviens jaunietis, jauniešu grupa vai organizācija tiek aicināti iesniegt projekta pieteikumu, nosūtot to pa pastu līdz 2012. gada 31. janvārim Ievai Jēkabsonei, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, Elizabetes ielā 85a, LV-1050 Rīga. Labākais projekta pieteikums saņems 2000 latu naudas balvu pieteiktā projekta īstenošanai. more…
