The citizen understands democracy in everyday life as elections, which somewhere and in some time take place, governmental issues and political scandals. We seldom think about what democracy means for us as individuals, what values and principals are enevitable and which of them could not exist without democracy.
The Kolping society together with Konrad Adenauer Stiftung organize seminar series „What does democracy mean for me?“ in the regions of Lithuania: on February 1 in Raguva, February 5 in Utena, February 25 in Panevėžys and in March in Jurbarkas.
The seminar series are devoted to young people willing to know more, to understand the every day life issues better and to learn about politics. The aim of the seminars is to present democracy to young citizens and to make it understandable for everyone.
