2nd Germany-Malaysia Security Dialogue
The second Germany-Malaysia Security Dialogue on 8-9 October 2013 in Kuala Lumpur focused on current security issues like NATO-ASEAN, fighting extremism, maritime security, shale gas and energy security, cyberwarfare and Syria.
The former President of the EU Commission, Jacques Santer spoke at a forum with IDFR and KAS on the future of the EU and the relations with Malaysia. At two other forums, he spoke about the Eurozone crisis with ISIS and the role of SMEs in the social market economy with UNIRAZAK.
