Academy of Responsible Management (ARM)

The Academy was established in 2009 as an education and research institute in Social Responsibility (SR) and Sustainability Management for organizations in the private, public and third sector. The Academy provides a portal for access to information, resources and assistance in ethical management models that take full account of their impact on their stakeholders, the natural environment and the communities in which they operate. ARM brings together the expertise of our partners from around the world to create a unique Community of Practice amongst Social Responsibility and Sustainability Management professionals in business, government, academic institutions and civil society organisations. ARM is supported by an independent Advisory Council of leading international experts who provide advice and recommendations on the development of ARM programmes, course content and research projects.

For the last 10 years, KOMAS has been providing training workshops for the creative use of traditional and modern media in exploring and situating the perennial issues of cultural diversity, freedom of expression , social justice, human understanding & solidarity.

Institute for Policy Research (IPR), Institut Kajian Dasar (IKD)

IPR/IKD was established in 1985 as a non-governmental, non-profit, organisation. IKD's mission is to carry out and promote systematic research relating to political, economic and social development in Malaysia, with special reference to the development of man as the pre requisite to other forms of development. The institute is administered by a board of trustees, a Panel of Consultants and a Management team. A member of the Board of Trustees is appointed to be the Chairman of the institute. The institute is funded mainly by private sources. At present, IKD's focus is on "Civic Education" seminars for the youth - a programme held in collaboration with KAF - and publications.

The MIM is Malaysia's leading management institute. For nearly 35 years the Malaysian Institute of Management has established an enviable and creditable track record in providing education, training and personal development courses and seminars on the various sectors of management. All educational programmes offered have been approved by the Ministry of Education and have also been certiied by SIRIM for ISO status. In keeping with the times, the MIM will continue to provide services to Malaysian management through its membership activities and enhanced skills in the management sector through the use of information and communication technology.
