High-ranking Malaysian Delegation visits KAS
H.E. Dr. Maximus Johnity Ongkili, Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation of Malaysia and a delegation of nine Members of Parliament were visiting Wiesbaden and Berlin (Germany) in February. The visit was organized by the German Foreign Office and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS).

Debating Malaysia's Economic Model
On 7 December 2011, in Universiti Tun Abdul Razak, a team of researchers presented their preliminary ideas on how to push the economy of Malaysia forward based on policies and economic models from Germany and other countries. Germany's strong economy and its resilience in times of economic crisis have spurred the team to investigate how its policies could be applied in a Malaysian context.

The Speaker of Parliament commends the commitment of KAS
The latest guide to the Lower House of Parliament, entitled "Understanding the Dewan Rakyat" was officially launched by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia on 23 March 2011 at the Parliament. In his speech, he praised the commitment of KAS in the development and production of the guidebook, and hopes for further cooperation with KAS for the promotion of participation and parliamentary system in Malaysia.
