On the occasion of the KAS conference "Energy Security in Times of Climate Change" the latest issue of the political magazine POLITISKA MISLA was published. Different Religions - same interest
The joint EU project of the KAS with our partner the IDSC Societas Civilis for interreligious dialogue will be finished at the end of this year. In a new video all the activities have been summarized (workshops with representatives of the religious communities and journalists,conference, research study on the perception of religion in Macedonia, exchange visits with young people). Also after the end of the project KAS Skopje will continue the cooperation with the 5 religious communities.

Tolerance, Dialogue and Cooperation!
The Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and the Institute for Democracy “Societas Civilis” have conducted 14 group visits to religious temples and locations for students from universities across the country. The visits have been conducted as part of the project “Tolerance, dialogue and cooperation! Promoting inter-religious dialogue in Macedonia through capacity building for media and religious representatives” which is funded by the European Union and co-funded by the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung.

Interreligious Dialogue
Video campaign for interreligious dialogue and cooperation
The Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the Institute for Democracy “Societas Civilis” have launched a video to raise public awareness about religious diversity and inter-religious tolerance in Macedonia. The video presents a positive example of cooperation among young people of different religious backgrounds. The video was created in cooperation with the religious communities in Macedonia and it will be broadcasted on local and national TV stations, as well as on the internet media.

One Decade after the Ohrid Framework Agreement.Lessons (to be) learned from the Macedonian Experience
The Konrad Adenauer Foundation in partnership with the Center for Research and Policy Making from Skopje, the Think Tank Fund of the Open Society Institute and the Skopje Office of the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung will organize a three day conference dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the ethnic conflict in Macedonia and the signing of the Ohrid Framework Agreement.
Tolerance, dialogue, cooperation! Promoting inter-religious dialogue in Macedonia through capacity building for media and religious representatives
The Konrad Adenauer Foundation in cooperation with the Institute for Democracy are continuing with the realization of the second phase of the project “Tolerance, dialogue, cooperation! Promoting inter-religious dialogue in Macedonia through capacity building for media and religious representatives”. In the period from April till May 2011, KAS and IDSCS are going to organize 8 trainings on national and local level for representatives of the five religious communities in Macedonia.
TRAINING SEMINARS FOR POLITICAL PARTIES IN MACEDONIA
The Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and the Eduardo Frei Foundation are jointly working on the progress for strengthening the capacities of the conservative political parties in Republic of Macedonia. This year, from 15th till 18th of April as a part of this joint cooperation we organize trainings for young leaders of the political party VMRO-DPMNE in four districts in the country: Strumica, Ohrid, Skopje and Kumanovo.
