Regional student conference

"Migration on the Balkans: Common Security Challenges and Ways to Cope with the Prolonged Crisis"

The Konrad Adenauer Foundation together with the Faculty of Security – Skopje hosted the regional conference for students from Macedonia and Greece on the topic: “Migration on the Balkans: Common Security Challenges and Ways to Cope with the Prolonged Crisis”. The conference was organized in cooperation with two universities from Greece: "University Aristoteles" (Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki) and "Sheffield University - City College of Thessaloniki" (University of Sheffield). more…

Since the opening of the representative office of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in 2000, there was a significant number of activities that were aimed to contribute to further improvement of the overall circumstances in the country. KAS visit to the resident office of the Catholic Church in Republic of Macedonia

Mr. Johannes D. Rey, official representative of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation has met Dr. Kiro Stojanov, bishop of the Catholic Church in Republic of Macedonia. This visit is part of the regular meetings with representatives of the religious communities in the country. During the visit it was discussed about the role and position of the Catholic Church in world and the country as well as about the mutual cooperation in direction of continued strengthening of the multi-religious dialogue

EFF delegation visited Macedonia

KAS hosted representatives of the Eduardo Frei Foundation from Netherlands (EFF). During their visit, the representatives of EFF had great number of political meetings but also they have met representatives from the NGO sector with whom they have discussed the current political situation and the future challenges for Macedonia on its path towards the EU. more…
