Mandela Day 2015 at the Sowetan Methodist Community Center

Last week, KAS Media Africa visited the residents of the Sowetan Methodist Community Center to celebrate Mandela Day with them. This is what motivated KAS Media Africa to generate a dialogue on how this relationship can be professionalised. Researcher Verena Löffler

Research Visit at KAS Media Africa

On 8 June, Verena Löffler joined KAS Media Africa for a research visit. She will be supporting the team with the organization of events and assist in research assignments on media-related issues until the end of July. Verena is studying political science and has been a scholar of the KAS journalist program since 2012.

Pan-African Campaign to Strengthen Freedom of Speech

KAS Media Africa has been playing an active part in the pan-African Decriminalisation of Expression campaign.
