E-lection Bridge Workshop in Dakar, Senegal

On 17 and 18 November, another E-lection Bridge Workshop was held at the KAS office Senegal in Dakar. New project assistant at KAS Media Africa

Stephanie v. Meien joined KAS Media Africa on 1 September. Stephanie has previously worked at the Bundestag, the Foreign Office and Germany Trade&Invest in Berlin. She will be supporting the team by reporting on project activities and current issues concerning media policy and by managing our homepage and social media channels.

KAS Media Africa congratulates Eric Chinje on new job

KAS Media Africa director Christian Echle has met Eric Chinje, the new CEO of African Media Initiative, and wished him all the best for his new task. Both sides attended the Deutsche Welle Global Media Forum in Bonn and highlighted the value of their co-operation on the improvement of the African media landscape.

Eva Limmer joined KAS Media Africa at the start of June. This student from Munich and scholarship-holder of the journalistic training programme of KAS will support the team with organizing events and workshops until mid of July. She will also be reporting on current issues concerning media policy and political communication - both on our homepage and in the social media.
