The theme of the event with journalists from six Asian countries were current economic and security challenges on the European level and in view of the Asia-Pacific region. Prof. Dr. Pflüger is in charge of the European Centre for Energy and Resource Security (EUCERS) at King's College in London. Brahma Chellaney is professor for strategic studies at the Centre for Policy Research in Delhi, India. The "Asian-European Editors Forum" takes place annually at different venues and reguarly in conjunction with an international conference for journalists from Europe and Asia.
