4th Economic Forum: Leaders in the Public Service should decide to make a difference!
The 4th Economic Forum was held on Friday, 4th March 2011, in Lilongwe. Both the main presenter and the discussant agreed that the role of politics cannot be overemphasized in attaining effectiveness in the public service, therefore stressing the importance of political leadership to attaining an effective public service. 6th YPU Annual General Conference Elects New National Secretariat

The 6th Annual General Conference for the Young Politicians Union (YPU) took place from 4th to 6th February 2011 at Kanjedza Lodge in Blantyre. The conference that brought together 87 delegates from 23 districts was officially opened by Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Development- Charles Mchacha, MP. Political parties represented by the delegates included the DPP, MCP, UDF, AFORD, PPM, PETRA, AFORD, RP, MDP and MAFUNDE. more…

Economic Forum Seminar in Malawi. Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) in collaboration with the Malawi Economic Justice Network (MEJN) and Economics Association of Malawi (ECAMA) organized an economic forum on social protection at Cresta Crossroads Hotel in Lilongwe on 7th September 2010. The function was second in a series of such events aimed at discussing and finding common ground on pertinent economic issues affecting Malawi.
