A CASE FOR THE STATE FUNDING OF POLITICAL PARTIES IN PAKISTAN
The following Round Table Paper (RTP) is one of the outcomes of a series of roundtable conferences arranged by Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) in Pakistan in early 2008. The KAS is at political Foundations of the Federal Republic of Germany. With its activities and projects, the Foundation provides a substantial contribution to international cooperation and understanding. The current RTP focuses on the need for state funding of political parties in Pakistan. The practice of public funding may be of interest for all who are interested in reforming and improving the political system in Pakistan.
