Challenges and Prospects
To further strengthen the ties between Kabul, Islamabad, Berlin and Brussels, a conference entitled “EU-Pakistan Strategic Dialogue: Challenges and Prospects”, was envisaged to be held in Islamabad in January 2012. The project was jointly organized by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) and the Center for International Strategic Studies (CISS). MdEP Michael Gahler, MdB Roderich Kiesewetter and MdB Ernst-Reinhard Beck participated in this conference. Please follow the link to get more information.

Pakistani, Afghan & German Delegates Stress Still Closer Relations in the AFPAK Region
“Regional Integration will be the key for a stable future,” said Dr. Babak Khalatbari, KAS Representative, on Wednesday at the conclusion of the two-day conference of AFPAK Civil Society Forum. The Conference was jointly organized by KAS and CAMP in Islamabad in the backdrop of recently in Bonn held International Afghanistan Conference.
