Legal Encounter on "Joining the Pension Fund: Process and Procedures"

In cooperation with the Birzeit University Union of Professors and Employees, the Institute of Law organised on 18 October a legal encounter on Joining the Pension Fund. Local elections in the West Bank 2012

With regard to the upcoming elections in the West Bank on October 20th, the KAS, in cooperation with the Institute for Community Partnership of Bethlehem University, organized a series of workshops. During the trainings, which were offered in six communities in the Hebron district, women from remote areas were given the opportunity to increase their knowledge about the participation in and the conduction of elections, as well as the importance of the democratic election process in general. more…

Junior diplomats from the Palestinian Territories visiting Berlin and Brussels

Seven Palestinian junior diplomats visited Brussels and Berlin following an invitation by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS). The visit, which was organised by the Domestic Programmes Team in cooperation with the foundation’s external offices in Ramallah and Brussels, provided the Palestinian diplomats with the opportunity to speak with Members of the European Parliament, such as the chairman of the KAS Hans-Gert Pöttering, MEP and with Members of the German Parliament. more…
