General Information about Scholarship Opportunities for Palestinians

The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) offers scholarships for graduate studies in Germany, Palestine and its neighboring countries. The scholarships are awarded annually to students and graduates of exceptional academic achievement and outstanding political or social commitment. This program aims to strengthen Palestinian-German academic relations and to empower Palestinian students by enhancing their educational opportunities. Another important pillar of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung scholarship program is the active promotion of intercultural dialogue, the formation of international networks as well as the internationalization of universities and science.

Our scholarships cover not only of financial assistance but also include a program of ideational support. We expect our scholars to participate actively in this program throughout the eligibility period. After finishing their studies, the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung expects its former scholars to remain active in the local alumni network.

The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung offers two types of scholarships:

1) Palestine and Neighboring Countries Scholarship: Applications closed

The Palestine and Neighboring Countries Scholarship supports Palestinian nationals who want to pursue their graduate (M.A.) or PhD studies in the Palestinian Territories or one of its neighboring countries, such as Israel, Jordan, Egypt, and Lebanon. 2) Germany Scholarship: Applications closed

There are currently no open spots available for scholarships in Germany. As soon as the application process opens, we will inform you here and on our Facebook page.
