The MNED of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung organized in the European Parliament together with the KAS Palestinian Territories and with EcoPeace Middle East the event "A water energy nexus (WEN) for the Middle East and the historic experience of the European Coal and Steel Community". The panel introduced the findings of a pre-feasibility study that analyzes the potential for large scale exchange of renewable energies from the Jordanian desert with desalinated water from the Mediterranean coast.
