DELGOSEA Midterm Conference - Stakeholders from all Countries Coming Together

DELGOSEA's (Partnership for Democratic Local Governance in Southeast Asia) midterm conference took place on the Indonesian island of Batam from 27 - 28 September. It provided a great opportunity for all actors involved in the project to get together and take stock. Nearly 140 representatives of both pilot and best practice cities, members of LGAs, government bodies, speakers from the EU and ASEAN found plenty to talk about, both in plenary sessions and working groups. more…

Centrist Democratic Movement in the Philippines Moves Forward

The Centrist Democratid Movement begun momentum start of 2010 in 5 regions all over the country and established a federation end of 2010. With their national and regional leaders, the movement decided their 2011 strategy: become an established political party; increase membership across the archipelago, accept membership from all ages, including established reform-minded Centrist Democratic officials and elected representatives. Misamis Oriental’s Select Clusters Adapt Thailand's Best Practice Model on Fiscal Management and Investment Promotion

Since the beginning of March this year, Local Government Development Foundation (LOGODEF) entered into partnership with Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and organizations from 4 other Southeast Asian nations for a project co-funded by the European Commission.
