The Regional Programme Political Dialogue Asia of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS), the EU Centre in Singapore and the Webster University in Vienna organize this year’s Asia-Europe Think Tank Dialogue entitled “Rules-Based Multilateralism in a Changing World Order”. At the conference, leading think tanks from both regions will analyze recent global and regional developments, the increasing volatility in world affairs and the implications of domestic uncertainties on multilateralism and the rules-based order. The dialogue will have a special focus on effective multilateral cooperation between Asia and Europe with regard to security, economics, human security, and EU-ASEAN relations.

The "Asia - Europe Think Tank Dialogue" is organized annually since 1998 by KAS and in close cooperation with the EU-Centre in Singapore. The aim of this dialogue is to offer representatives of think tanks from Asia and Europe the opportunity for an exchange of ideas and insights on current issues of bi-regional and international relations. The dialogue forum also serves as a platform for sharing information about ongoing projects, enhances cooperation among institutes from both continents and supports the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) process.
