The 8th batch of the Konrad Adenauer School for Young Politicians (KASYP) met for the first time in Cambodia with participation from 9 different Asian countries to engage in a week long seminar of discussions with expert resource persons.

The 2015-2016 KASYP batch concluded their two year training programme in Germany on 9th of September. They met with German interlocutors from the federal to local level as well as visited important institutions, where they gained practical insights in the political machinery and functioning of the German system.
The second COSATT conference on “Migration and IDPs in South Asia” took place in Colombo, Sri Lanka on August 25th and 26th. We had the honour of having the evening keynote speech given by Dr. Klaus Schüler, Federal Director, CDU on “Migration in times of globalisation: Opportunities and challenges”.
