One World Romania Opening Event to the Documentary Film Festival The opening event of the 3rd edition of ONE WORLD ROMANIA Human Rights Documentary Film Festival will be held at the Romanian Athenaeum, on the 17th of March, starting 7 pm. with a festival inauguration, presentation and a concert of the Romanian band Urma. Constitutional Law Event report "Regional Constitutional Courts Conference" From the 26th to the 28th October 2009 the jointly with the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Serbia organised Constitutional Court Conference: "Constitutional Jurisdiction in Theory and Practice" took place in Belgrade, Serbia. The conference was the largest project of the RSP SOE on the topic 'strenghtening the constitutional jurisdiction' in 2009. Overview Summary of activities in support of Constitutional Courts in South East Europe The RSP SOE organised numerous seminars, expert talks and conferences on constitutional jurisdiction last year. In addition to these events, the translations of essential decisions by the German Constitutional Court were published. With these measures the RSP SOE wishes to support the work of the constitutional courts in its program countries. Main focus in this field have been the countries of the Western Balkan since 2007. Neuerscheinung Quo vadis bulgarische Justizreform Die Europäische Kommission wird voraussichtlich noch im März ihren nächsten Zwischenbericht zu den Fortschritten veröffentlichen, die Bulgarien und Rumänien unter anderem auf dem Gebiet Justiz seit dem Beitritt dieser Länder zur Europäischen Union erzielt haben. Justiz in Rumänien Leiterin des RSP SOE trifft sich zu Gespräch mit rumänischer Generalstaatsanwältin Die Leiterin des Rechtsstaatsprogramms Südosteuropa (RSP SOE), Dr. S. R. Roos, hat sich heute zu einem Informations- und Beratungsgespräch mit der rumänischen Generalstaatsanwältin, Laura C. Kövesi, getroffen. Themen waren u.a. die Unterstützung des RSP SOE-Projekts "Lideri pentru Justitie" durch die Generalstaatsanwaltschaft, sowie des RSP SOE-Projekts zur Förderung der bevorstehenden Wahlen zum Obersten Magistratsrat (CSM).
