Australia-India Council Young Media Fellowships for two Indian journalists Syed Nazakat, Senior Correspondent of The Week news magazine and Fellow of the Konrad Adenauer Asian Center for Journalism is one of two Indian journalists that have been awarded the Young Media Fellowships of the Australia-India Council. The award grants will enable him to spend six weeks in Australia for his research project on the Australia-India bilateral relationship within multilateral framework in Asia, including the recently announced ‘Strategic Partnership’ between the two countries. Publication MOJO - Mobile Journalism in Asia (Now available as PDF file for downloading!) Around the world, the mobile phone is changing the way journalists work. This publication introduces the concept of the mobile journalism (or mojo). Using wi-fi or cellular phone networks, stories, audio, images and video can be on the web within seconds of being composed. This immediacy accelerates how journalism happens, and introduces new challenges for editorial executives. Asian journalists awarded TOKYO: Twenty-two journalists from developing countries in the region were chosen as finalists in Asian Development Bank’s annual Developing Asia Journalism Awards.
