On May 21, RLP SEE organized a public discussion with the philosopher and essayist Horia-Roman Patapievici, in a dialogue facilitated by Cosmin Alexandru, a trainer on our Leaders for Justice program. Mr. Patapievici shared his views on the terms good, evil, moral doctrine, modernity.

Leaders for Justice 2018 - 5th Session: Project Management

The fifth training session of the Leaders of Justice Program 2018 took place in Braşov, focusing on project management, time management and joint projects. The participants of the 9th generation outlined 3 project ideas, using the information presented in this session. Legal Policy and Justice Reform in Albania

A delegation of legal experts of the CDU, under the leading of Prof. Dr. Patrick Sensburg, MP, met on the 3rd and 4th May in Tirana with decision-makers of all relevant institutions of the albanian justice system and international organisations. Interlocuters were the albanian Minister of Justice, the presidents of the Constitutional Court and of the High Court of Albania, the german Ambassador, Ms. Susanne Schütz, directors of the OSCE Mission, EU Council Office and EURALIUS.

Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, Rule of Law Programme South East Europe and Association “PRAVNIK” are proud to announce the start of the application process for the International Summer School Sarajevo 2018 - “The Role of Transitional Justice In Rebuilding Human Rights and Rule of Law in Post-conflict Societies”, that will take place in July 17-28, 2018. Third training session of the Leaders for Justice 2018 programme

The third training session of the Leaders for Justice 9th generation took place in Brasov between March 8-11 and focused on change management, decision-making, real leadership or the exercise of power with trainers Mihai Dragoi and Marian Stas. Also, the planning for change module with Codru Vrabie gave them the opportunity to start working on their common initiatives. The inspiration was brought by Laura Andrei, former President of the Bucharest Tribunal, in a four hours open discussion. more…

How does Romania take back its stolen assets from corrupt convicts?

The Center for Investigative Media launched a policy paper focused on monitoring real examples of how the state actually fails or manages to confiscate assets from corrupt convicted Romanian politicians and businessmen. At the event, the Dutch Ambassador, two members of the Romanian parliament, and experts from DNA, DIICOT, General Prosecutors Office, ANABI, ANAF and Romanian courts spoke.
