On the 17th of November 2017, the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the Notre Dame University are organizing a roundtable on "Constitution and State Building in Lebanon 1920-2020."

The basis of the discussion between 20 representatives from academia, politics and civil society is a research paper on the political and constitutional developments of the past 100 years in Lebanon. The aim of the panel is to identify the successes and failures of the constitutional developments of the last century and to formulate recommendations and guidelines for the reform of the constitution and political institutions on this basis.

The event is the start to further round tables scheduled for 2018.
