One World Romania
One World Romania goes on tour from 25.October to 25.November in 8 cities of the country
Every autumn the One World Romania (International Documentary Film Festival dedicated to Human Rights) goes on tour! This year the festival will be present in 8 cities across Romania (Timisoara, Sibiu, Miercurea Ciuc, Craiova, Targu Mures, Brasov, Cluj-Napoca and Iasi) and will gather a total of 11 documentaries, all part of the 4th edition of One World Romania (16-21 March 2011). Study visit to Berlin for the Leaders for Justice 2nd generation
18 participants of the Leaders for Justice program will be for a week in Berlin for a study visit, where they will have the opportunity to visit Germany's main institutions and meet important persons in the justice and political system.

Constitutional Reshuffle and Guarantees for the Independence of the Judiciary
The KAS-RLPSEE in partnership with the Romanian Superior Council of Magistracy organized on September 28a roundtable on the reform of the Romania Constitution, with the participation of Thomas Markert, Generalsecretary of the Venice Commission, Council of Europe. The event was attended by representatives of the main institutions involved in this process, from Presidency, Constitutional Court, Ministry of Justice, to Chamber of Deputies, Ombudsman, Magistrates associations or NGOs and embassies.

Economics of Good and Evil
The KAS-RSPSOE in cooperation with the Czech Embassy and the Czech Centre organized successfully on September 27 a series of events on ethics and economics consisting of a panel discussion, book presentation and theatre play all by famous czech economist, professor and writer Tomáš Sedláček.

Council of Europe Cultural Events label (CECEL) awarded to One World Romania Human Rights Documentary Film Festival
One World Romania Human Rights Documentary Film Festival was awarded with the Council of Europe Cultural Events label (CECEL) in 2011, together with only two other projects across the continent. The festival was recognized as a exceptional and innovative cultural and artistic project that adressed key challenges of today's European societies. The 5th edition will take place from 14 – 19 March 2012 in Bucharest with new topics and collateral events organised in seven other cities in Romania.

The Rule of Law Program South East Europe of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung announces the beginning of the third edition of the Leadership Program for Romanian Junior Lawyers – “Leaders for Justice” („Lideri pentru Justiţie”). The application is open to Romanian law students (in their last year of university studies), postgraduate and PhD students, as well as young legal professionals, in the first three years of their career. Is prison an solution?
The event organized yesterday by the National Prisons Administration together with the Rule of Law Program South East Europe of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung gathered over 100 people interested in the debate that had as a starting point a documentary film (put together by Ms. Dana Cenusa, spokesperson of ANP) on the German system of penitenciaries - with the effort of - and the current challenges the Romanian system is facing. Legal traineeship starting January 2012
The Rule of Law Program South East Europe of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung is offering starting January 2012 graduate law students and legal trainees the opportunity to do a three to six months traineeship at the Program's office in Bucharest, Romania.

Closing ceremony of the International Summer School Sarajevo 2011 an farewall dinner of the Alumni Conference
After 13 days of intense activity, the ISSS 2011 "Human Rights and Transitional Justice" came to its end. In the last two days the 30 participants had the opportunity to take part in the Alumni Conference of ISSS celebrating the 5th edition of the event. Within the closing ceremony, the representatives of the two organizers handed the certificates of participation to the 30 students and thanked them for the active participation and contribution to the success of this anniversary edition.
