From 19 to 22 May 2016 the second of the four yearly YEPP Council Meetings took place in Bucharest. Konrad Adenauer Foundation Romania has hosted the event together with the Youth of the National Liberal Party (TNL) and the Youth of the Democratic Alliance of Hungarians in Romania (MIERT) for the third time. The week before, KAS had organized a seminar for members of YEPP in the Republic of Moldova.

In Bucharest, 75 young centre-right politicians from 27 European countries came together to discuss "A New Narrative for Europe". Among the highlights was a visit from Laurentiu Stefan, the Senior Advisor on Internal Affairs to the President of Romania, Klaus Iohannis, who delivered a message from the President, and a panel discussion and workshops with local politicians from Bucharest.
