The Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Announces the KAS Energy Security Fellowship
The Fellowship is to be hosted at the European Centre for Energy and Resource Security (EUCERS) at King's College London. It will fund a research stay of 12-months for a European Union (EU) resident research fellow starting in September 2012.

Strenghtening Integrity within the Political Parties
The conference: "Strenghtening political integrity within the center-right political parties in Central and Eastern Europe" will be organized by ISP, CES, EFF, IRI, KAS and Mrs. Monica Macovei, MEP, on December 4 - 5 2010 in the Human Rights Hall of the Romanian Parliament. The conference aims at promoting anticorruption and integrity mechanisms to center-right political parties in CEE, in the presence of over 70 reprezentatives of center-right parties and political foundations in the region.
Bürgerforum: Europawahlen
KAS startet in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Informationsbüro des Europäischen Parlaments in Rumänien und ANBCC eine Reihe von 15 Bürgerforen landesweit zum Thema Europawahlen. Das erste Bürgerforum fand am 27. Februar in Giurgiu statt und hatte als Hauptreferentin Frau Adina Valean, MEP.

On November 9, the European People’s Party (EPP) upgraded the Democratic Party (PD) from Romania status, from Observer Member to Associate Member. The strengthened relationship between EPP and PD represents an important political action both at the level of European representation of the Romanian political parties and at the level of the internal political scene from Romania.
