Publication of KAS Climate Report 2014
The KAS Climate Report 2014 has been published on the 26th of August as part of the 6th Climate Week in Hamburg. KAS Tanzania representative Stefan Reith discussed the political consequences of the climate change in Tansania during his recent short stay in Hamburg. His thoughts and perceptions are portrayed in the climate report.

New German Ambassador in Tanzania
On 15th July 2014, President Jakaya Kikwete officially welcomed Egon Kochanke as the new German Ambassador to Tanzania. From 2008 to 2012 Kochanke was Ambassador to Namibia, from 2012 he was in charge of the Department for Sub-Sahara Africa and the Sahel in the German Foreign Office. On 17th July, he introduced himself at the KAS office.
