Religious leaders of the Dar es Salaam Peace Committee will jointly set a strong signal of peace and solidarity through an inter-religious football match on 12th October. New German Ambassador in Tanzania

On 15th July 2014, President Jakaya Kikwete officially welcomed Egon Kochanke as the new German Ambassador to Tanzania. From 2008 to 2012 Kochanke was Ambassador to Namibia, from 2012 he was in charge of the Department for Sub-Sahara Africa and the Sahel in the German Foreign Office. On 17th July, he introduced himself at the KAS office.
