Internship at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Bangkok
The Konrad Adenauer Foundation offers the opportunity to pass an 8 to 12 week internship. We prefer students of political, economic or social sciences as well as jurisprudence.
Advanced English speaking skills and an understanding for political contexts are expected. Knowledge about Thai culture is an advantage, but not expected.
Your tasks will be versatile:
• Support for organising KAF events and their contents
• Scientific research
• Participation in KAF events and writing summary reports
• Preparation of short political reports, articles and essays
• Support for organising our everyday business
A payment is basically not possible. You must pay travel, accommodation and running costs on your own. However, we help you in preparing and planning your stay as well as finding a flat.
Application documents:
Due to a plenty of applicants we recommend to email your application documents (best in one attached file) at least 6 month before your requested stay will begin.
Your application should contain the following documents and information: cover letter, cv with photo, education certificates, required period of stay and preferred fields of work.
Visa:
To enter Thailand you get a tourist visa directly at the airport border which is valid for only 30 days then. So we recommend to apply for a 3-months non-immigrant visa at a Thai embassy or consulate.
