Legitimacy of power in postmodernism. Why does the EU need member-states?

IIPS and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung jointly release a publication “Legitimacy of power in postmodernism. Why does the EU need member-states?” The author, Vojtech Belling, studied International Territorial Studies in Prague and Cologne and worked as a lecturer at the University of Public Administration and International Relations and at the university in Heidelberg, where he currently finishes his dissertation. The publication considers various weaknesses of the current state of democratic decision-making and does not omit to elaborate also on the democratic deficit.
