An Outlook of Uganda's Climate Finance Landscape

Climate change is a global problem whose challenges will be met at local, regional and international levels. Ambitious climate action is therefore required to meet the goals and targets of the Paris Agreement. Uganda’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) require substantial financing from a variety of sources (public, private, and external). Youth encouraged to embrace dialogue as JEEMA retains IYOP Football Championship

The 11th of November was an activity packed day at KCCA FC grounds as youth from eight political parties participated in an interparty youth league football tournament. The tournament started with a public dialogue on the theme “Youth as key stakeholders in peace building and development”. The annual tournament aims at promoting a spirit of peaceful co-existence and reducing violent political participation which is common among the youth. A two-day training for Secretaries for Female Affairs from eastern Uganda was held in cooperation with the National Youth Council in Soroti.
