Every other year, the RTL School's journalists travel from Cologne to the United States, to gather first hand knowledge of U.S. politics, culture, the economy and media. The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung USA is hosting the Washington part of their trip and organizes discussions with German and American correspondents, think tank experts and meetings with representatives of the government. Furthermore, the group will visit the Newseum. For the young journalists this visit presents a unique opportunity to network and receive a personal view of the political and media landscape in the U.S. capital.
