KAS Turkey arranges a one-week intensive course for 50 Imams from the Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet). In the next few years, these Imams will serve as religious leaders of various mosques in Germany.

The Imams will receive preparatory training from Diyanet first followed by language classes offered by the Goethe Institute. In the modules arranged by KAS, background information will be provided on topics such as education and integration issues in Germany as well as German culture and society. In addition, the Imams will be provided with practical information relevant for their daily life in Germany helping them to get settled without any difficulty in their new environment.
