Klaus Regling, Managing Director of the newly founded European Stability Mechanism (ESM), will speak on: "crisis management in the Euro area - first achievements and further steps".

The current crisis in Europe is discussed on a daily basis: Greece, Portugal and other member states need financial assistance from the European Union. With the help of the ESM, those countries will be supported.
Klaus Regling is Managing Director of the Luxemburg based ESM. In the framework of a luncheon roundtable he will give a speech on how the crisis is managed. The focus will be on first achievements as well as the steps that have to be taken in near future.
Working language is German. English-German simultaneous translation will be provided.
