Services Sector as an Engine of Inclusive Growth

The Asian Development Outlook provides interesting comparisons of India’s services sector with that of other Asian countries. India, too, is initiating a series of reforms in this sector and the government has set up an inter-ministerial committee to discuss services sector reforms. In that context, the purpose of this seminar is to disseminate recent research on services and facilitate interactions and brainstorming among academicians, policymakers, sector experts and industry.
