Jordan’s lack of natural resources, especially its water scarcity, combined with challenges of hosting refugees, make the country heavily depended on foreign aid. In times of shrinking funds and a struggling economy with a high unemployment rate, Jordan’s self-reliance needs to be boosted. In this context, KAS Jordan Offices organizes together with Al-Quds Center for Political Studies a workshop on “Jordan and the way of transition: from ‘dependence’ to ‘self-reliance’”.
