The Municipal court in Zlatar gave Ivan Goluban a one year suspended sentence with three year's probation for sending threatening text messages to the president of the Croatian Journalists Association (HND), Saša Leković, the HND said in a press release on Sunday.Given that both the prosecutor and the defendant waived their right to appeal the verdict, it has become final.The prosecution indicted Goluban because of severe threats, a crime for which the law foresees a sentence of between six months and five years in prison. His legal situation was even more difficult, given that the prosecution described the threats sent to Leković as a hate crime
