The Catholic Social Doctrine as a Key for Democracy and Development in Africa

Cardinal Turkson visits the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung

The principles of the Catholic Social Doctrine constitute an important and determining fundament for sustainable development. Just as it has contributed to strengthen the responsibility of the elites in Germany in order to enable prosperity and freedom, the Catholic Social Doctrine can serve as a key for an equitable and democratic development in Latin America, Africa and Asia.
