Russia’s efforts to influence elections in the US and across Europe have brought Disinformation into the public sphere. In their new publication, “Digital Disinformation: A Primer,” the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and the Atlantic Council have clearly outlined the terminology, tactics, and key players surrounding this phenomenon. Author Tim Hwang, director of the Ethics and Governance of Artificial Intelligence Fund, has created a compact and accessible introduction to disinformation, which includes practical policy recommendations for stakeholders on both sides of the Atlantic.
