Professor Sylvia Tamale, head of the committee investigating sexual harassment at Makerere University,gave a keynote address.

Local Government Integrity Circles (LoGIC) Project Introductory Training

The Local Government Integrity Circles (LoGIC) Network conducted the introductory training for local government unit (LGU) Provincial Coordinators, representatives from the Private Sector, and Integrity Consultants last August 7-9, 2018 at the I’M Hotel, Makati City. Prof. Dr. Stefan Jost, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Philippines Country Director and Ms. Stephanie Carette, European Union (EU) Delegation Program Manager, both welcomed the participants of the training.

Boosting Uganda’s economic transformation: Energy Stakeholders and Media representatives discuss Uganda’s economic futur

Friday, on August 10th, the Marriot Hotel became a stage for discussing Uganda's economic development: In two round tables, organized by the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) together with its Partner, the Center for Development Alternatives (CDA), key Stakeholders from the Energy Sector, government representatives and media came together to talk about what changes the energy sector must undergo in order to transform Uganda's economy into a more productive one.
