The leading question addressed by former South African president F.W. de Klerk was how South Africans “as a country are going to re-establish a system of governance that is characterised by integrity – with key institutions that operate in the public interest effectively, professionally, efficiently and without fear, favour or prejudice”.

Young and Emerging Leaders Program Graduation: Transformative Leadership for Society

From 26 to 27 January, LéO Africa Institute hosted the graduation seminar at Lake Victoria Serena Resort for the inaugural class of their Young and Emerging Leaders Project (YELP) in cooperation with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung. YELP brings together 20 outstanding thought leaders from Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda that have backgrounds in media, social entreprise, the arts, and business.
