Use of the film as intercultural education tool:

The documentary film “BOUNDLESS“ is part of the same named web-project about multicultural families and binational relationships.

With previous authorization, it can be used as a catalyzer for a discussion or as education material for schools, and thus be used as a tool for intercultural education. The premise of intercultural education is that all cultures are equally valid and that learning processes take place reciprocally. The film advocates meaningful social interaction from people of different backgrounds. It also promotes learning from each other by exposing the audience to something “unknown” or “foreign”.

Those talking about the film can overcome their own prejudices about the “other” and the “unknown” by analyzing differences and similarities, comparing their lives with the lives of the film’s protagonists or the ones of their discussion partners.

The idea is to strengthen the notion that diversity can be powerful in a positive sense.
